Our members are women and men who strive for spiritual growth as they serve those who are suffering and in need.
SVdP Vincentians serve in Hope, that God will provide the resources and volunteers to complete His work, to relieve suffering, and to reveal Christ’s deep love for all mankind in service to those in need.
“For where two or three
are gathered together
in My name,
there am I
in the midst of them.”
-- Matthew 18:20 NAB
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul USA (SVdP) is a worldwide Catholic lay organization founded in 1833.
Holy Rosary is one of 19 conferences (parishes) comprising the
Evansville District Council.
In a recent fiscal year, our Holy Rosary Vincentians were able to
assist our friends and neighbors in need
with over $51,000 in assistance,
making 470 home visits,
helping 1,125 people.
We volunteered almost 1,700 hours,
and drove nearly 5,000 miles.
Holy Rosary’s St. Vincent de Paul Conference visits our neighbors in the geographical area of our parish who have called the St. Vincent de Paul Society’s coordinator’s office asking for help. These families are living on the edge, month to month, and facing evictions, shut offs, medical emergencies and layoffs.
A team of two Holy Rosary conference volunteers meets with each client to discuss his or her need. Conference volunteers currently make 2 to 5 home visits a month.
Please pray for this mission and pray about joining this rewarding ministry.
Our conference meets every other Thursday evening from 6:30-8:00pm in the Parish Hall.
Contact the parish office to confirm our meeting dates (812-477-8923).

Our funding comes from parishioners’ contributions via the Blue Envelopes, the We Share Electronic Giving and other contributions.
We work hard to be good stewards of all donations we receive. We're grateful for our fellow Holy Rosary parishioners who financially support our mission, and invite all to help us financially in this most worthy ministry. The more donations we receive, the more families we can help.
