Liturgy of the Word
We enjoy when we can offer a gathering of children assembled to listen to God's Word
and ponder its meaning, but in a way suited to their abilities and their interests.
Hearing God's Word proclaimed and explained in ways that are designed especially for them
fosters opportunities for children to hear His Word with greater meaning and application for their lives.
During Spanish Mass on Sundays
Spanish Children's Ministry
Growing in faith and love, together as a community of little disciples at Holy Rosary. We’ll have special events to enjoy as a family and encourage spiritual growth of your children.
• 1st Sunday: Liturgy of the Word
• 2nd Sunday: Children’s Mass
• 3rd Sunday: Living the Eucharist
• 4th Sunday: Family Mass
Join us and be part of this beautiful mission of accompanying children on their faith journey! (These gatherings will be in Spanish.)
During English Mass on Sundays
Liturgy of the Word
Beginning in January, 2025, Children, ages 3 - 6 years, will be invited to join in a procession to the Nativity Chapel before the first reading and will return to their parents after the General Intercessions (petitions). While together, they’ll read Bible stories and talk about the Scriptures in an age appropriate manner.
OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE
We’re seeking Adults and High School youth to lead Children's Liturgy of the Word
during the 9:00am Mass on Sunday mornings. Ministers will be working with
children, ages 3-6 years, in conversation and age-appropriate activities based on the Sunday readings. Materials and training will be provided.
