Dear Friends,
Our Summer Social is quickly approaching. You may have noticed that the set-up team was hard at work last weekend as the booths were erected on the south end of our campus next to the gymnasium. This past week and in coming days there will be a flurry of activity setting up electrical service to accommodate the new configuration of food booths, games and outdoor seating areas. For months, there has been behind-the-scenes work for the big car/cash raffle, quilt raffle, basket raffle, kitchen crew for the nightly dinners and carry out, and all the aspects of logistics. It takes an army of those willing to serve to pull off a three-day Summer Social, and I’m most grateful for those who have stepped up to offer themselves. I hope to see all of you enjoying the social May 30th through June 1st. Please invite your friends and family to join us.
Christ’s peace,
Fr. Bernie
Queridos amigos,
P. Bernie
