Holy Communion
Catholics believe the Eucharist, or Communion, is both a sacrifice and a meal. We believe in the real presence of Jesus, who died for our sins. As we receive Christ's Body and Blood, we also are nourished spiritually and brought closer to God. Preparation for First Holy Communion takes place each spring for children age 7 and older. The celebration of First Holy Communion takes place on the First Sunday of May. Please call or email Carol Ann Gaddis for more information, 812-477-8923.
